I don't know the original so I don't know how this compares to it. All in all it's nice. Nothing really punches though. The lead synth is very dull. It has no width or dpeth to is. Maybe dirty it up a bit, or widen it's stero field. It would be nice to see it evolve a little over time as well. It find the bass a little shallow as well, though I like the loop.
Nice job, just think it needs a little something extra.
