Rather than post a thread on almost the same topic/question I have a slight variation.
What about using sound samples from films? Say you rip a 10 second sample from different films and then use them as your vocals in your track. Can you get away with not asking the owner?
A good example is Noisia & Phace: Cannonball where they use a sample from Anchorman (to great effect
