He went way beyond culture shock and straight through to self-righteousness. I'm ok with him saying it's unacceptable behavior in his culture, but he didn't stop there, he went on to make a massive assumption that I was irresponsible, potentially abusive, deceptive...did I forget anything? It is precisely that jump to conclusions and insistence that he is correct despite clear evidence to the contrary, that leads to cultural intolerance.
