yeah, pretty good. Kind of gritty and dirty sounding with that distorted bass that comes in and out. That piano in the background kind of hints at a Nine Inch Nails vibe but without the angry words.

I like it but couldn't listen to it a lot.

"Never Alone" is my very first track on DI.FM

- please be kind to me !!!! This track is about the journey into the world of my baby son. Hence the baby gurgle.

My remix of this track is being used as a backing track on the forthcoming DVD release of the O'Neill sports "Deep Blue Open" surfing DVD.

Guess it does sound a bit aggressive - just my style, I suppose! As for the dreamy mix, maybe I could do one, or if anyone else is interested in doing one, let me know (either here or PM me) and I'll send you the files on CD.

This I really like, I guess for me a mix like this can be very upbeat (read: agressive) and still chill me to the bone. I love that combination, and this definitely meets that. Well done, Mistrust!

My music's really taken off recently (I'm unsigned, still a bedroom muso!)... Never Alone got played on local FM radio in Manchester (UK) and by one of the resident DJs at the Big Chill Bar in London in February. It's also gone down well in a few electronica clubnights over here, too. Been asked to play live later in the year, too!

I like the bass line. Would love to hear more songs like this.

I think if you took out the baby gurgle and added some more of that bass it could be one intense track. But then again maybe it's supposed to be more surreal.

Thanks for the great comments - I really appreciate them. I'm glad everyone likes the track (or at least has something to say about it!)

I'm waiting to hear from DI FM admin to see about adding some more tracks to the playlist, and I'm also finishing off some new tracks at home, which will be on web soon. As for the bassline, it's more upfront in the original version of "Never Alone" which you can play/download on myspace (along with 3 other tracks):
