I did not like it too much, I prefer mixes that stay in one (or two) styles. This one covers a lot and drifts to regions that I wouldn't like in chilled moments (if I imagine plugging in to di.fm to get a nice dose of chill-my-mind-free to sleep, uh-oh). Some transitions sucked (I hate that :P ).

Well, nice mix. But rather something for the uplifting, moving and powerful moments.

edit: Byebye my Brother!

Oh wow, caught with my pants down! I wasn't expecting this would get on the air so quickly as I just submitted it the other day. I'll give some background on the mix: I've wanted to make a mix that focused on long transitions for quite some time now and I also wanted to make a long mix with hard and soft elements in it and I also wanted to feature some progressive breaks styled tracks that I've been sitting on for a long time. All of these just fell together for this mix unintentially so I just ran with it. The majority of the transitions are quite long for a mix and I was focusing on making them complex and creative. As a result, they are far from subtle. I spent many hours tweaking and re-tweaking to try to get them solid and for the most part, I'm extremely happy with the end result. I think this is a mix you need to listen to several times in order to appreciate the concept.

Here's a description:
Quote:
White Tiger consists of harmonically mixed uptempo euphoric chilled breaks and some progressive breaks. The mix delves into long, complex, and creative transitions. As such they are not subtle. At over two hours, White Tiger is longer and structured differently than any of my previous mixes. It's a concept I've wanted to do for quite some time and the end result is every bit as rewarding as I had hoped.
I thought I had more time so I haven't created a webpage or found any hosting for it yet and my friend is still working on my album art. But I do have a temporary link you guys can use.

I hope you guys enjoy it!

This absolutely amazing. This is an excellent mix, thank you Helix. The long transitions remind me of the brasilian dj style I heard, growing up in brasil.

This track is like..... old time French city music. I cant even explain it well, its crazy! And strangely addicting.

dont have the slightest clue of where in the mix were at for the moment, but the last 2 tracks ive heard really spread some good vibes over here. The tracklist looks really nice with alot of familiar tracks.

Let me guess, this one? 20. Rosetta Stone - Paris Divine

I love the beat in that track.

Who am I to comment the tracklist?
Anyway, it is a little overcompressed, either because your threshold is too low, or the ratio of compression is a bit too high.

But sweet tracklist indeed
