i just recorded my mix

clicked stop recording, to get this: "audacity.exe has stopped working"

FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

ive now lost it all!!

Yeah, don't get me starting on Audacity... It froze 3 TIMES when I was recording a mix a while back (and I was like more than 30 minutes or so into each mix, of course) and now I just Ableton for recording... Ditch Audacity and never look back, it's too volatile for live recording IMO... This was all done on a brand new laptop too.

But check your temp. file folders and stuff for the file. I've found a couple of files in that folder from when Audacity crashed and it may just save you another mixing...

I just sent off my mix to Tink so I'm all set though.

just did the best mix ever....... but the quality is shit!!!!!!

its really quiet so i normalised it, thats when it decided to go all distorted, yet the waves are tine

found out the problem -___- my sound drivers decided that they dont want to reconise the line in anymore so it decided to change the default to the microphone instead, which just picked up the sound from my speakers. -__________________________________________________ _______-

I have very little music for what I'm planning, and I got the whole thing laid out good, and then the second to last track just refuses to blend in, and it's driving me crazy. argh, makes me lose ambition for the comp. I'll work it out somehow I hope

Looping?

Some Guy - A Song [ROX edit]?

Make a copy of the track, blend in from track A at some different point in B, and then once B is alone, mix in the copy of B at an earlier point of the track.

Mix from A to an ambient track, and shortly after go to B?

Hello everyone. I hope interested participants will submit their sets to me on Sunday instead of Monday. I have a very extensive workday on Monday. I would prefer to open the comp thread on time.

...audacity. its not that hard to learn. just take the time to set all the things to where u need them

it keeps saying the sample rate is off, no matter what the sample rate is!
