Hawkson... have you already picked a part, or are there only going to be 12 competitors?

Haven't got long on them there internets atm, so I just thought I'd claim my part and run if that's OK.

Hmm, I'm in a bit of a dillema between 5 and 10.

5 would be awesome for some cold chill, 10 has forests, that's for goa......hmmmmm

Well I'll take 5 but if anyone else really wants it for the snow I may give it to them under the condition that 10 is still free.

I'm only done exporting the first 6. I'll link those in a jiffy. The rest will be done tonight or more likely next morning.

I'lll have to do a special edit for myself from all 12 parts or something like that. Last night I tried to see if its possible to cut it up in 13 segments, it doesn't workout as nicely.

Alright, I just sent out video links to the first 6 people, part 7-12 will get theirs tomorrow around the same time. The quality is standard widescreen 360 (not HD). These are quick and dirty edits for your use. The final clips will be 720p. if you have itunes or quicktime installed you should most definately be able to play the files, but let me know if there are any problems.

may I just repeat my motion that we get started on the halloween comp a bit earlier this year so we can listen to the sets a few days before the actual halloween? I get disappointed that we get to start listening to the sets after the actual halloween has happened, would be nice to get to download the sets a bit before halloween to get in the halloween mood with them.

I think so too. We're not going to be done with Railway Relay competition untill the last week of October if that. But there is no reason to wait till the end.

oh this is an actual competition? Wasn't aware, I thought it was just a joint project to put music to a movie

Anyway I really like the diversity of the vids, there is enough for everyone, sunny meadows and dark tunnels and quiet snow parts and rides through forests and in the end lots of urban stuff, really nice for different genres.


Edit: as for halloween, I could actually help with the set uploads, so whoever is hosting it can PM me if they want me to handle part of or all the set uploads. I'll be moving to a rented apartment in october and it depends on the internet connection though, but I think it's not going to be too bad for uploading the sets I can make a nice little download page like Dustwave did for the 420 comp
