im working on it, im working on it ... tried to do it all vinyl but it wasn't working out, gonna just do a basic loopy Live set in ableton and sync it in final cut or something... trying to pick out records, watch a video, and sync my transitions and flow to what's onscreen was a A LOT harder than I anticipated...

I thought this was interesting so there: yesterday morning, after uploading Ninety's set, like a blind idiot I forgot to set it as private, a whooping 42 people had seen it in a couple of hours and are now demanding Trev set it as public again. Just a couple more days.

Things are coming along, although Omi still owes me his tracklist and both of them need a title If mr. Ominae-san leaves before sending me his TL, we're gonna have to play ID game.

Another interesting piece of trivia, youtube runs a script on all uploaded videos to check for copyrighted material, it had found at least one instance in all mixes except mine and Fincore's for some reason.

Good question, I'm sure some google engineer knows an answer to this. In your case this script correctly identified one of the artists, but made a mistake on the track title.

Just uploaded a set by 303, it looks good so far, but youtube isn't done processing yet.

well, maybe it can try to read the letters in the captions, but I can't imagine a script being able to tell artists by "listening" to the audio

surely nearly all tunes people use are copyrighted? do is it mean showing evidence of being illegal copies?

It is so, it just means you are not the copyright holder of such content. The only thing this script does is disable the revenue sharing option, so you can't make any money off the ads.

had no idea about that

how can it find one only? on what a track or the whole set?

There is a problem with Firebug's set, so we may have to postpone this a couple of days... lets see what he says, maybe he had a backup set ready.

Right, I finally have all the sets... but there are still 12 hours of editing, encoding and uploading ahead of me. If all goes well, Monday night or Tuesday is the date.
