9- original tracks by participants encouraged and allowed (i.e. the participating deejay created one or more tracks used in their mix)
10- listeners/participants should be in an "appropriate" state of mind when listening to mixes
11- can't vote for your own mix (tackiness at its best)
12- have fun with it
13- preferably 45 minutes (dependent on number of entrants)

I like it... any genre... original tracks (I don't know why that wouldn't be allowed)... definitely anonymous!... and yea, if there are a lot of contestants the sets should be shorter.

any dj's/producers that wanna use their own tracks is of course permitted..lets see what you got..and of course any genere. i think some people are taking this whole pyschedelic thing to serious or to far. its the same as the valentines day comp. its all in how you percieve it to be. not everyone has the same ideas or percieves things the sameway.

as far as mix lenght. i still stick with 45 minutes to maybe 50 minutes solo. 60 minutes max for a tag team.

the clearer we set the rules the less confused the participants are (and hopefully prevents from posting stupid apologies for not knowing stuff)
because this time DG will swing the mighty DQ hammer (that is if he can lift it and isn't too spaced out...) and punish the ones who won't take the rules in.

my point was that look how broad the definition is. almost any genere can fall under that catagorie. everyone is thinking that they need to spin psy, so thats why i said "taking things to seriously". You cant just look at something from a one sided view.

OK here's the deal with the time limit. We are going to do a vote. Each person, PM me your vote and I will count them up. Vote for either 60 minute max sets or vote for 45 minute max sets. Either way, you don't have to do 60 minute sets but let me know everyone.
