Yeah do try those beers. I don't drink many lagers. I stick to my wheats and Ales.

I can tell you what Dogfax spun but I don't know if I should say on the boards so I'll leave it up to him to explain.

I know I did. I'm really looking forward to the next one (Christmas competition?).

First time I participate in one of these contests, and I wish I had participated in some of the earlier ones.

could someone give my mix a review. I know it wasn't very halloweeny since i don't have many vinyls right now. (well actualyl i have like 30 random hardhouse and weird vinyl my bro bought from one of those 50 random vinyls for 100$ things)

But thats why i made it into a story by using lyrics.

But can someone review my mix, on the mixing skills. I got a new mixer since last mix competition for ominae.

I want to get to where i can mix in the song without making it sound like its fading it. (i don't know if i said that well)

but any thoughts good or bad would be appreciated.

BTW mine was Jack Da Rippa

Well My mix was a cross between, some old school hard techno from the 90's alternated with some dark Psy tunage... made an ok mix.. just wanted to try something diff this time, even if it was a bit too hard for most peep ears.

♪♪♪.......♪♪♪

It's that time of year again guys, gals, ghouls and vampires as we take you through a journey into the darkest realms with the demented minds of our demonic thunder gods on the wheels of steel.

Just like last year, there are only two rules this time around. The Halloween theme and a 40 minute time limit!!!

The voting will be the same as before. You have from today until October 30th at 11:59PM PST to listen to the sets and place your votes. Please post your top three favorites here in this thread in order from your most favorite (#1) for three points to your third favorite (#3) for one point. Here's a sample Vote Post:

After hearing all the of sets I have chosen my three favorites. My favorites are:

1. That Girl (3 Points)
2. The Other Guy (2 Points)
3. His Mom (1 Point)

I will keep tabs on the voting this time around and post periodic updates with the winner being declared on Halloween, October 31st. As before the winning mix will be submitted for airplay on the DJ Mixes channel.

So please enjoy the terrifying sets we have put together for you and remember... Try not to be Afraid of the Dark this year...

90º - 210 Elm Street - Cellar of the Sirens

Cameron Rapter - Truly Dark

Deadly Groove - Extraterrestrial Invasion - The End of Human Civilization

DJ Jayfresh - Welcome to Creepville

DJ Nectra - Frustration

DJ Psychotrance - Devil's LSD (Trick or Treat)

DJ Shoom - Halloween 2007 - Chaos and Night

Dogfax - Half Hour in Hell

Fincore - Fin o Ween

Fugue - Anthem of the Undead

Hudson Hawk - Angel Under Blacklight

Jack Da Rippa - Trancending Through the Dark

Light Sequence - Haunted House

Mixtress Bloodwing - Halloween 2007 - Samhain Sacrifice

Ominae - Desert Beats Volume One

PhineasFreak - More From the Hallowed Halls

Psneaky - Halloween Mix

Pudman X - Lost in Sanity

Salomon - Lost in Twin Peaks

Tekfox - Dubbed the Fox

If anyone has problems downloading the sets, try clicking here.

I would like to thank Jeff Andvik for supplying the hosting and I wish you all the best of luck everyone.

In the event of a tie, both winning mixes will be submitted. As submission to DI does not guarantee airplay it will be left to the Moderators of this station to decide if the set will actually be aired. As always, this is not a DI sanctioned event. Any use of the term DI, it's logo and or website is permitted only as commonly accepted on these boards.
I did that too and I'm still having problems downloading, what do I Do now?

Stupid piece of shit. My pc, that is.

EDIT: I FINALLY got one through. Stupid piece of shit.
