the point is it's cold outside and you're in with a warm fire and warming alcohol and everything is cosy and comforting. (but then i get proper snow for christmas often...)

I can see snow on the mountains above Evian in France since 2 weeks. And it's getting thicker. Winter playground is just around the corner.

It's ironic but the worst skiing conditions I ever experienced were in Australia. Complete whiteouts at the top.

Anyway, still not sure if I'm in this or not. But I do have a melancholic progressive mix which I will post in the SSP Forum shortly.

I might play something a bit harder for the XMAS mix. Indecision, procrastination..etc etc. 40 mins is never enough!

It's not the time to mix it but the time that I want the tracks to play for. I've identified places where I can save time and drop the next track in but it's not a complete set in my eyes. You can do that spinning fast trance but not "downstairs music" like progressive.

I'll see how it goes. I'll post this mix I've got and If I get a half decent response, I'll try for another but I don't think that what I have in mind will go down well enough for XMAS. I mean, there won't be any Bagpipes in it....

Sorry Bruce but Bagpipes are a bad idea mate. I used to live in Edinburgh many moons ago and whenever I came across a busker playing the Bagpipes I used to say to whomever I was with - "I'll give him a pound to shut up".

LOL. I love a bit of culture but not in a dance competition. Don't encourage Bruce to play the Bagpipes in future!

As for numbered bank accounts, there was a big deal last year with the EU holding Switz to ransom about anonymity. I'm not sure it will be worth keeping money here before long since the EU will have access to accounts and charge tax on that money....

But, of course that kind of thing doesn't apply to me. I keep all my money in Liechtentein, Jersey and the Isle Of Man.
