edit: The logistics of holding an outside competition and tracking down votes across several youtube accounts and pages scares the crap out of me. That's why I didnt even bother posting anything about voting in the video descriptions.

![]() Loving the first two vids - the breaks and DnB working really well to the fast-moving scenery. Very nice! ![]() Edit: Clicked on Firebug's facebook link out of curiosity - page not found! Last edited by 303 State : Oct 28th, 2010 at 04:55 PM. |

![]() ![]() ![]() Of course, one could just take the name that is there and find that there are extremely little listings for my name on F-Book. Just another way to go about it. The Hammer = Hamilton. ![]() |

Just finished firebugs video, amazing, I got the shivers a few times, especially the last track. Omniae's was great too, should have named it "in the shade"
. Moving on, 11 more to go...I wish I had the time to listen to half the videos in one go ![]() Thanks pudman, from first glance it seems to me that mine is the only downtempo mix, I hope I'm wrong. I also miss a goa/psy mix, though I hope I'm wrong about that as well, since I only gave each video 30ish seconds of sneak peak listening. Also, am I the only one that finds it just weird that the train has no lights and goes through the tunnels in complete darkness? I mean, not that it would need a light, but it's weird that it doesn't have one anyway...

I've only listened to ROX's set so far. I really loved that ambient (especially that track by Biosphere). I'll give the rest a viewing when I can.
![]() Those tunnels are kinda annoying, though. You see all the beautiful mountain scenery, and then you approach a tunnel, enter it, and your screen blacks out. Oh, well. At least the music's awesome. ![]()

I found the tunnels annoying at first, but then I found that I still have something to do when I'm in those tunnels, if the music is fast and dynamic it keeps me occupied, on the other hand, if it's slow and/or repetitive, that's fine too because it somehow goes with the mood of the tunnel, especially if there's some of those dim lights in the tunnel, I don't know, it actually gives me a warm mood being in that darkness with some nice music than outside in the cold
![]() Most of that stuff in the snow parts aren't actual tunnels, but avalanche shelters I think, so they don't have to clean the railway every time snow falls off the mountainside. I loved going through those, since there's a lot of light coming from the outside, it looks very sci-fi going through them. I finished the first 5 sets, I'll give the rest a listen on wedness day when I'll have time.

I'm going to post some things I love about each part, starting with Part 1 by Omi...
I was really digging Autonomous by Lucas and there is strange and comfortable tranquility about the parts starting at 12::50 till about 18 minutes and later starting at 21 minutes till about 25. I ended up using that second stretch in my own edit, but at double the speed. It really is magnificent when you slow it down.
