/changes topic from trash talking
About the voting. I have a couple of suggestions to alter it from last time's style. 1st - Make the voting public. This is for a couple reasons. Mainly, even though the honor system is good, we don't want people voting before they even listen to all the mixes. With a group this large, there is bound to be one sour apple (no rotten or bad apples of course ) Another reason ties into point number 2.2nd - Allow for multiple votes. With 19 people (IN) so far, that is a lot of mixes. Especially since this competition doesn't hold to one genre, there are many open minded people here who will like multiple mixes equally. On the last competition, it was all one genre (trance) and so it was truely which mix was the best out of the 6 we had. This time with 3x the contestants and no genre restriction, ultimatly, people are going to like more than one mix due to differing emotions when they listened. I doubt anyone is going to listen to 19 mixes straight with the same emotions they had when they started. Which leads me back to point #1 - the public view... I think we should be limited at 2 or 3 votes. The public voting will allow people to see if someone voted more than 2-3 times, in which case a mod can delete all of their votes, etc. what does everyone think? It's easy to forget how someone used to be a complete asshole when they seem normal now, especially when they have a pretty face. If it had been some rap fan newb, guaranteed they wouldnt be involved in the community today. Anyways, Lil' Rascals - you don't have to delete any posts about my mom. If you want to do it, as to maintain the focus of the original thread, go for it. But i'm not offended or anything. And I definitely agree with DI Revolution's suggestions for voting! Good thinking. ![]()

rEvo- I thought you could only vote once as it was. Unless I am just not as cool as everyone else and you all can vote multiple times.... I don't mind the Public voting thing. Last time it wasn't made public to hopefully get more voters in there. This I don't forsee a problem there... As usual, it'll be what ever the majority of you guys want. ![]()
