Just bought Beem Plus! Thx for fixing the volume issue.
Any chance we can get minimized versions of the channel images on the small tiles of windows 7.8?
Because now it's just a black mini tile absent text or image.

Another suggestion: An AUX function. I love the fact that I can have di.fm in the car, but since i'm forced to use the aux because I don't have USB functionality, I have to put my volume to MAX to make Beem play a litte louder. AUX connections seem to suck at volume.
You could build an "AUX mode" that amplifies the sound by 150 or 200%, whatever is possible whilst avoiding distortion.

That would make my Beem the perfect app :-)

Hey, thanks for the feedback! I will definitely work on something to make sure that Beem works as best as it can in the car. Thankfully I have a way to test an AUX connection.

Will also update the release to support Windows Phone 7.8 small tiles.

I've downloaded the app on my SAMSUNG Taylor and when I start it and press on a station, it loads the currently playing song, and the list on the bottom, but I can't hear anything(no sound at all), although it shows that it's playing. I've put the phone on 'ring' and max volume, in case you might think that was the problem. Any solutions to that?

An update for Beem Plus has been released. 1.6.0 Changes:

• Fixed critical bugs that might cause app crashes.
• Better integration with the Music+Video Hub.
• Get track duration in the track history.
• When sharing, link to app URL instead of station stream.
• When searching for a track in the Marketplace, the Music stack is searched by default instead

@theUser: Taylor is a long discontinued device. Check if other applications can play audio through the speaker. Nobody ever reported problems with playback.

Please consider the following suggestions. (Lumia 900, WP 7.5 and 7.8)

Major annoyances / issues:

1. Channels are not immediately clickable upon e.g. `Recorded` > `Favorites` transition. They blink, before they become clickable.

2. The recording prompt informing about the necessity to keep the app in foreground for the time of recording.
I think twice is enough even for the slowest ones

3. Recording: If a file with the same name already exists and user isn't aware of this prior to recording clicking the `Accept` thick icon leaves user with only two choices:
a) Cancel and loose recording
b) Accept and loose the previous file

4. The system-wide Forward/Back icons (shortcuts) are useless with Beem.
When channel playback is started from Favorites, only the `Pause` icon is active. Switch between favorite channels should be possible. When started from the `Channels` page - it switches but through all the channels.
The current implementation forces user to switch to app when most of the channel switching could be achieved using the system-wide `Back / Forward` icons.

5. It would be nice to have an option to sync all of the recorded tracks. Currently it's cumbersome to sync them one-by-one.

Wow, love the amount of feedback, thanks Bucic. So to address the sync issue - do you want recordings synced across devices or do you mean that you want an "upload all" option?

I hope Di.fm will sign a contract with you for the app. The amount of time it takes them to roll out the app is a joke, if you ask me.

7. Replace the useless Marketplace search with something useful, e.g. copy Artist - Song_Name to clipboard.


I wonder...
I use Evernote to note good tracks very often. Would it be possible to integrate "Send to evernote" option to open up Evernote app with the song details pasted? I really doubt it as the Evernote app does not integrate into the global send-to menu, IIRC.

There is a major 2.0 release coming, that includes Windows Phone 8 support, among others. Not that it's not already there, I am just integrating all the new features that are available on the platform (e.g. tiles).

1. Channels - will check that and try to make sure that it won't happen.
2. Will make the prompt optional in the new build (with a "Don't show this again" option)
3. Fixed
4. Will check what I can do about that.
5. Added in 2.0
6. Will work on that.
7. Marketplace search is still used. I will just add a separate clipboard option.

Thanks for the feedback! Expect the 2.0 release to be out before the end of April.

PS: As of Evernote - only in Windows Phone 8 applications can interact to some limited extent with each other. If I get enough traction for the need to integrate "Send to Evernote" (as in - the track details), I will just put together an API wrapper for it so that the data is sent directly to the user's account.

Perhaps you could use the evernote capability of accepting user notes via special evernote e-mail address? This should be system version agnostic. In any case the copy/paste feature will be a big step forward since one can use pinned templates with evernote.

I haven't got a reply from you yet regarding the premium not working. Such cases are to be submitted via "contact support" on the uservoice?
