well i have just been told that my school has purchased a new computer software program which lets the IT Admin view what you are doing... and then, if they dont like what your doing, make you exit what you are in, and stuff like that!! scarey stuff, now they have total control!
no more games for me... and most probably music sites and MSN!! damn!! ![]() |

EDIT: boot in Linux if you can get away with it. This might involve a bit of network spoofing.

My girlfriend once had the computer she was using turned off because she was looking at skimpy models on the web. She was using the computer in her clothing design class and working on a report about clothing styles. The person that took control didn't even bother to save any of her report she had been working on.

i got the dame as Ambiguity's friend, but i had to do a Unit on mobile phones. the admins decided to make it a bitch for us and blocked all the sites, sure, the filter was to get around but the admins still caught you when they looked at the user history. it really sucked....but now ive finished my final exams and start college in septemeber!

Use CCleaner to cover your tracks afterwards. You can have it on a USB drive and keep it with you to delete all evidence of any surfing.

I use a program called iPIG it's free and sends all your traffic through one server no matter which application you are using.

Knoppix has my interest. After I download the package I've seen, do i have to do anything else or just copy it all onto a CD and burn it? I'm eager to learn a new OS.

http://ftp.freenet.de/pub/ftp.uni-kl...linux/knoppix/ You want the "KNOPPIX_V5.0.1CD-2006-06-01-EN.iso" the .md5 and .asc files are used to determine if the .iso file has errors, but I don't know how to use hashes. Some of the documentation can be useful too. Oh, BTW - you need to burn the .iso file as an image using Roxio or Nero or a similar program that supports CD images.
