Aluratek Radio allows custom stations
Over the winter of 2008-2009 the VTuner.com people have added a feature that lets you add custom stations to your Aluratek clock radio. The major bane of this radio has finally been fixed.
Log into aluratek.vtuner.com and register your radio's VTuner ID to set it up. If your radio does not have a menu item for "VTuner ID," go to aluratek.com and update your radio's firmware. Alternatively you can use the MAC address of the radio if you know how to find it.
I have used both the WMA and MP3 DI.FM streams and it works great adding DI.FM Premium channels to your clock radio.
This was a really welcome surprise. My major complaint with this radio is finally solved.
Firmware is R1.17. The web site says R1.7 but it really downloads R1.12.
