Default ATTN Mac users: What media player do you use?

Hey everyone,

So I'm switching to Mac soon and I just wanted to know what the best media player is. I love iTunes, but it's a bit of a hastle to open the whole program if I just want to quickly play a song. Any suggestions on a good media playing program to use?? Thanks =)

Itunes. It allows me to create all of my genre playlists (techno, tech house, etc) and create Set playlists. It also allows you to drop a folder in, it adds it as a playlist and then you just delete the tracks you dont want or move em around.

iTunes seems to work best on the mac format. Everything functions perfectly.

Songbird is a good alternative to itunes. I tend to stick with Winamp on Windows cause I am a Windowsgirl.

You can switch a song on iTunes with Function keys: F7 (Previous), F8 (Play/Pause) and F9 (Next)

Just create a playlist with the tracks you want to hear and use the function keys to switch.

iTunes is the best player for Mac.

You can just press spacebar on any track and a little preview window floats up and instantly plays the track, that's what I use for sifting thru samples. And it's a part of the OS so it's already there

Itunes is the easiest software to use for Mac ...

Highly Recommended! Itunes constantly is updating their software as well. Best option we have for Mac users.

Vox is a small music player. Like WinAmp/XMMS. (Before WinAmp got big )

I am using Clementine as my main music player. Clementine is a fork of Amarok 1.x

Sorry, I am not able to post URLs.
