so now im being fined $1,500 and losing my licence on false claims
the cops said they 'studied' the skid marks
there wasnt any on the road
they said they 'inspected the car'
the tow truck driver said the cops havent been there to investigate yet
in all reports i wasnt speeding and is seen as human error
they have no basis to fine me that much and take my licence

Good times Jish. First, im glad you're alright man. Second, i'd fight it. There shouldnt be any skid mark if you hydroplaned. And im sure you locked up the breaks due to becoming in panic mode. But not your fault, there's no rail around the curb. Though XYZ has a good question. I know your tires are small and most likely doesnt have the best grip on wet roads, but, knowing your car's limits and taking the turn slower could have saved you the trouble.

Anyhoo, i dont care for what the verdict is. Good to see you're alive man.

well if your brakes failed to work there wouldnt be any skid marks. they cant prove you were/werent speeding.

and i think that is his car.

thanks for the love guys
i will fight it out, im not gonna just settle on losing my licence!
everyone who ive spoken to says that i have a chance and they are only trying to fine me because of my age and they have no real proof

I'm glad you made it out of there alive, man, and I do agree that there should have been a guardrail on the outside of that curve, but I get the feeling that you aren't telling us the whole story. If you hydroplaned, you were probably going faster than you were supposed to. I'm not trying to be jerk or anything...I'm just giving you my two cents.
