i hate shwartzeneger(sp.) fuking governor of california. he cuted the state budget for some stupid reason. now we are all in trouble with the budget. i am working 15 hours a week. and now they have to cut back more hours. like wtf? fuking idiot doesnt know what he is doing. get him the *** out of the government. he is just ruining everything same as bush did. ahhH!!

I don't blame you for being miserable. There isn't much happiness in this province either. Especially after the steel plant shutdown announced yesterday. The anger has spread through the province and is making it's way further. The plant literally helped make Canada what it is. It was the main source of employment when the country was founded, and has remained one of the top players, until yesterday.

Because there is not much work to be done? Hardly. Just not financially affordable. There is tons that could be done in this city alone, never mind all the other areas across Canada.

Here's an idea: Have people keep working and make a new frickin city. It sounds like a joke, but imagine if all the countries in a crisis did it. How much employment would be created. But it's way too lofty of an idea.

Sounds like the gun registry here that was only supposed to cost $10 mil, and ended up costing $2 bill, and does not work at all.

Wasteful spending, then the citizens are supposed to pick up the slack.

Sounds like an idea worth taking a look at...

Though that wouldn't work in The Netherlands...we don't have any room left for a new city. We're kinda full...

Then again, we could just make an artificial island first...would create even more work...and we're good at making islands. We've been claiming land from the sea for over 70 years and It's mostly Dutch companies that made Dubai's palms and planet islands...heck, there's already a 700 square KM area pretty much ready to be dried up...they started working on that decades ago but soon after they finished the dyke around it they realised we didn't need the land or something so they stopped that project...the hardest work is done already, all they need to do is pump out the water

There's a road on that dyke...looks really weird...just a long road going into the water as far as you can see, and nothing but water on either side.

Can't find a proper picture from on the dyke itself..., only from where it starts...stupid bend in it on that side ruins the view. Looks even weirder from on the dyke itself...absolutely no land in any direction as far as the eye can see, just the perfectly straight road disappearing at the horizon

It looks that way, but given the high number of people who have died on that road, i think i'd skip that road...I dunno why, i've driven over it and seen nothing strange, but serious accidents happen there a LOT...probably because people do indeed rip it wide open and loose control or something.
