Food Network

Is anyone other than myself glued to the Food Network? I'm stuck on it for 80% of my TV viewing. I guess part of it's that...well...I love food and practically live it, but to me it's very, very well done and consistently the best channel on the dial. Do you watch it much and who/what do you like?

I was until they dropped Iron Chef!

I think Good Eats, Ham on the Street, and Emeril Live! are good shows, Mario Batali's not too bad either, but I don't watch the Network like I used to~

I like Giada cause she wears those low cut tops all the time

I think Tyler Flourance had the best show though when he used to do Tyler's Ultimate. And Good Eats is always good.

And I can't stand Emeril sometimes. And I think it's funny when he tries to pronounce the web site to the food network. haha

Gotta agree with tyt here. Iron Chef was great.
But I'd have to go with Alton Brown. He's very scientific about everything which intersests me. I watch Discovery channel more than the Food network.

i know now that i am not alone yellowfin!

i would say that about 80% of my tv viewing is on food network too.
i watch michael chiarello, i like the barefoot contessa sometimes....and everyday italian is a favorite along with tyler florence. i miss jamie oliver on there.
love iron chef.

my daughter is so cute: she calls alton brown "al dorky"

but u can really learn a lot from his show!

I think Iron Chef America is more enjoyable than the original, but with fewer episodes so it gets a little aggrevating waiting for new ones to slowly emerge. Throwdown and Road Tasted are really fun, and I hope they'll continue them during the year but I bet they're very time consuming to make with all the searching and road travel. Feasting on Asphault is something I'm looking forward to.

The only cable television channel I watch religiously is Food Network. Every show is awesome but Good Eats is my favorite. I like Emeril Live but I really hate when they focus on the audience, it makes me feel awkward because they're trying so hard to not look into the camera.

There's times I really wish I had "smellevision" Thank you Emeril for that one. I'd like Good Eats alot better if they laid off the shtick a bit. I'ts too much for me sometimes. I like Rachel Ray, the other day she was talking about how she smells like salami from all the garlic she eats, but it's ok because her boyfriend is a nice italian boy who likes salami.
