Like the title states, rate the last movie you've seen. Whether it was in theaters, on dvd, or maybe a TV movie. Let others know what you think of it so we know whether to spend our time/money on it. Try not to give anything away though.
The last movie I saw was in theaters called Dave Chappelle's Block Party. It was a documentary of how Dave Chappelle tried to get people to come to his block party concert in Brooklyn, NY. I think Dave is hilarious but this movie was too slow paced with all the footage of the concert and not enough Dave cracking jokes. 4/10. Movie didn't justify the $10 price ticket.

I just saw Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (yep, I'm somewhat late), and I enjoyed it.
Definitely a different kind of movie, but I'd prefer something more thought-provoking (not necessarily a chick flick, mind you), rather than cookie-cutter. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0338013/ 8.5/10

Brokeback Mountain 8/10
It was really good but not "t-h-a-t" good. I thought it lagged a bit and the love story didn't come accross as very romantic. Other than that it was very nice cinematography.

My OnDemand cable box spontaneously started playing High School High tonight for some reason. I started watching the beginning of it and it was pretty funny so I watched the whole thing. I remember it came out when I was in high school ten years ago but I never saw it. It was pretty funny (and pretty stupid). I loved how they made the high school look like it was out of downtown Baghdad or something.
I'll give it an 8/10 for the entertainment value.

I watched The Sphere on tv last night. as far as SciFi movies go it was OK - most usually suck, suffering from poor computer gaphics/effects and down right poor acting/plots. for a change, there were relatively few plot holes/inconsistencies - i didn't spend the whole movie picking apart errors, but managed suspension of disbelief and sat back an just enjoyed it.
even if you don't care for SciFi, it has a samn interesting central idea that is food for thought philosophically. last SciFi movie i enjoyed that much was Event Horizon (though it wasn't as good as that, and didn't have an Orbital soundtrack). Although it was cool as far as SciFi movies go, considering it had Dustin Hoffman, Samuel L. Jackson and Sharon Stone, i'd still only rate it 7.5/10 - worth watching if it's on tv and you've nothing better to do. (or if you've been smoking pot...)

10/10 for Labyrinth - and I didn't see it rather read the transcript online.
I have seen it before many times so reading the words to it was like replaying the whole movie in my mind's eye and my mind's ears... if u can put it that way. 10/10 because when reading it through, I had enough time to really chew on the humour in the film (fairly subtle) and it was great to remember all those talking lichens, talking worms, a talking hat, talking doorknockers...that woman with all the "junk", talking walls... Whoever decided that a little worm should invite a young lady "inside for a cup of tea and to meet the missus" - that's stupendous and that's the humour i'm talking about - it runs throughout the whole film. I read the spoken parts of the transcript but skipped the sung lyrics |

Final Destination 3 : 7/10. Story is fast fading but there was no shortage of gore .

I just watched Catch Me If You Can. It was a great movie. I enjoyed the story (I read about him first in an article in Maxim
) and it was pretty amusing seeing all the scenery set in the 60's. I don't like handing out 10's but I really couldn't find any fault in this movie at all so I'd have to do a 10/10.

I watched The Transporter tonight. I've seen it before a handful of times and it's always entertaining. It certainly doesn't hurt that the asian chick in it is hot.
![]() However, it does suffer from a number of typical hollywood cliches (bullet tracers, stupid criminals, etc) so that knocked it down a notch. I'll give it an 8.5/10. I have The Transporter 2 coming tomorrow via netflix. I heard it blows but I still want to watch it.

Chronicles Of Riddick, one of the worst movies i've ever seen. THe story didn't make any sense at all and Vin Deisel made me laugh so f***in hard
""I'm ven diesel, look at my cool bald head and sunglasses" I still think vin Diesel is bad ass, but something about that movie , I never laughed so hard in my life. it wasnt a comedy of course it wasnt the last movie I saw, that was a couple years ago

I enjoyed Chronicles of Riddick a lot. It definately wasn't a "good" movie but had high entertainment values. The visuals were pretty cool too.

yeah, I'll admit the choreography and visual effects were good, but the plot was way to confusing. Every time I think of vin diesel I bursted out laughing, to the point where I was making a scene
