Fracture

A great movie. Anthony Hopkins & Ryan Gosling are excellent throughout the film about a murderous revenge and the law the will follow it. Detective and perp..... intertwined between the lines of the law. A must see.

This was a good movie and it passed by quickly. It was really simple and far from the Epic I was expecting it to be. It was very much like a video game. I guess I'm a sucker for the testosterone fueled movies like this. I like the characters, all the different ethnicities and costumes from Xerxes' army, as well as Xerxes himself. It was completely over the top!

Although the one part that just made me roll my eyes was that lame part where the guy's son got decapitated. So cliche and retarded and pointless. Not to mention that whole bit with the hunchback. I've seen all that before.

Finally, a shark movie where the shark is not the villain!

Great documentary, and a real eye-opener. I loved it.

Highlight for review

Very good movie, but seems a bit long in the tooth. It probably could have been slimmed down. It didn't quite have the same emotional impact that Crash had and I wasn't exactly sure what the message was supposed to be. Also, the connections to the different story lines were a little contrived at times. However, overall, I really liked it. It was a long movie but went by pretty quickly. Some parts had a pretty strong emotional response from me.

I gave this movie higher marks than it deserved simply because I like supernatural movies. I like the idea of man that steals the devil's power and uses it for good. Unfortunately, the movie itself is kinda stupid, contrived, convenient, and unbelievable. That's not to say that I didn't enjoy it, quite the contrary. I think this could have been made into a much better movie in the hands of a different director and screen writer. Nevertheless, it was enjoyable.

Stealing Harvard was on today, I think TBS or one of its sister stations.

I seen it awhile ago, rewatched it this afternoon. Pretty funny, the Tom Green humoureque was meshed well with the comedic sattire of Jason Lee, who's a little more brash & sarcastic. Overall, worth a watch.
