strange wilderness

there were few parts i was on the floor laughing, because it was some of the most ridicolous stuff you'll ever hear, but i love that humor. It could have has more stuff in it to make it funnier but still it was great.

8/10

shoot 'em up

had some cool stuff in it but wasnt quite tongue in cheek enough to back up the sillyness that pervaded the film - it seems like it wasn't sure if it was a joke or not... kept me entertained for a coupla hours and mde me laugh a few times as well as having some great deaths and stunts. 6/10

Jackie Chan's The Myth
8/10
This movie couldn't figure out if it was a serious romantic action or if it's one of Jackie Chan's goofy comedies. But I thought there were a number of clever things going on despite that. Sadly, it ended up getting too over the top goofy as it approached the climax. And then had the Hong Kong movie industry's typical totally unnecessary tragic ending. But it gets some bonus points for being entertaining throughout.

Vantage Point - 9/10

it kept me on the seat trying to figure out how it was all going to go down. As the movie progressed, but it still kept you on the edge. It was crazy movie and really really good.

i suggest some of you see it if you like action movies, and ones that keep you guessing. I didn't see the end coming, well i didn't see the twist that was in the ending coming.

jumper
waaaay to short, could've had so much more to it, such a great idea that missed so many possible cool things and some major plot holes, but still very watchable, cool fights, carchases and effects... 8/10

300 - what a piece of shit. The 3-star rating must have came from the slow-mo effects. I always thought that the biggest part that makes movies, depicting ancient times, interesting is the intelligent use of language that is at least fairly accurate for the current time period. In 300, i always had a feeling Leonidas was going to say something in English slang. I know it's based on a comic book, but this is just one dumbass movie.

3/10 for lots of screaming and too many 6 packs
