over complicated, and not particularly fun to watch - i found it hard work to stay involved with the film - and it wasn't a very rewarding film either - i didnt feel as if i was left in any better state after watching it than before... a waste of time 5/10

Secretary
an S&M love story - i suspect either you love it or hate it. i enjoyed it's weirdness. 9/10

I liked this although my wife was getting irritated by the constant rewinds to show the same events unfold from a different "vantage point". I would have liked to see something a little more epic of a movie but for being a smaller, contained film, it wasn't bad. I mean, the ending was quite abrupt and convenient, and I didn't buy that these bad guys all of a sudden had a heart. But it was entertaining as a caper movie.

so about gary oldman, i did a search of his movies and found that he was in Bram Stoker's Dracula, one of my favorite movies

but he wasn't just in it, he WAS Dracula the whole time!!

i usually see this movie about once every two years and i never noticed it was gary oldman with the heavy accent and the creepy movements. effing amazing. anyway, i rented it last night just to see his performance. the first scene about dracula's backstory was just so godamn titilating. also, anthony hopkins is considered a world-class actor, but he is clearly nowhere near gary's level.

Bram Stoker's Dracula - 10/10

Wanted

i dreaded to watch this film, I knew it was bad, even Morgan Freeman and Brangelina's butt couldn't elevate the bad plot (with wasted potential), mal-casted lead and bad CGI.
1/10, utter waste of time.

Memoirs of an invisible man
it may have been a chevy chase film and a very dated seeming one at that but i still enjoyed it as a few hours of midless entertainment... damn good special effects though 6/10

i barely managed a half hour before deciding i'd rather be reading my book. boring, just a bunch of semi naked blokes yelling at each other. i didn't watch it all so i wont give it a score but i doubt it would have rated very high either way...

i thought it was pretty scary. Gory at times but realistic gory, not the gory thats unrealistic.
I was into it the whole time. It's weird how in most movies im laid back and i don't get much anticipation, but in this movie, there were times when i was so tense, even if something wasn't going to happen. That's never happened to me before in a movie.

only reason i gave it 8.5 was becuase there was a few slow parts in the middle, but you can't have a movie be scary the whole, it has to have some plot to it hehe.

The Happening - 7/10

from M Night Shamalan, i had high expectations froom the previews. but ultimately, it seemed weak blooded anemic and the actors half assed their efforts. it could have been way better. and i'm in love with zooey deschanel but her character wasn't cool. disappointment. marky mark does not play a convincing teacher. jon liguizamo was ok

thats too bad although i see where your coming from the persian are so cool in that movie and the fight scenes are awsome. especially when the spartans force the elephants off the cliff that part is nuts

Good movie. They should have bordered out the supernatural, prophecies, and all that other crock and it would've been fine.

And wtf was up at the end?! The girl dies but a minute later she comes back to life?! WTF!
It's a great happy ending, but if they had left her out of the picture, I think it would've made a much greater impact.

Iron Man

This was a great movie as I've heard. My only complaint is that I think it needed a little more time in the suit. He only is a superhero for about three minutes as he eradicates the terrorists. It would have been nice to see him do more with it. But as it is, I really can't fault any part of the movie. They didn't fall into any obvious cliches, etc.
