I like the new logo. It's simple but still eye-catching. But I'm not changing-out the DI decal on my car, especially since it's now considered an authentic old-school classic

I think it would look better it you used a slightly darker blue. maybe a blue that is a little bit closer to the blue on trance88 avatar.

Yeah...on the DI frontpage

Every time i look at it i find more and more similarities to my site...like the height at which the menu sits is from the top down almost identical, as is the width, as is the position of the horizontal line above it. In fact, in Chrome the width of the menu's ARE down to the pixel the same (mine's plain simple text so may vary a tiny bit depending on browser), and the position of the menu and the horizontal line above it are both exactly 1 pixel above DI's! And then there's all the obvious stuff like that font and the colors and style of the graphic etc... I think my long lost evil twin is a webdesigner

The re-design of logo takes a while to get used to.

The size of the logo is better for the forums, as it's now less wasted space (height) where adverts would be for free users.

I still remember the green site that DI... sorry, Digitally Imported used to be.

Hopefully the new site will make it that you don't have to scroll down so much on the homepage.

I alway think that it is getting a bit long, and hard to find the channel you want.
I end up scrolling past it, then back up.

I just downloaded the old logo a couple years back and took it to a graphics shop. They stuck it on their computer and "printed" it using a vinyl plotter. It cost me a little more than usual because the broken double-hoop had to be carefully carved out. Result:

The newer, better, simpler logo is nothing but text and a rounded-off square. It should be much cheaper and easier to do

This continues our move towards referring to Digitally Imported as DI for short, shying away from "DI FM" as a name. It's a tough thing to do, but it was way too confusing for years. Finally decided to stick with something.

Ari, it's the music that matters anyways, so it's all good. I hope that this change doesn't mean we're getting rid of all the old timers here too though, ya know out with the old logo and the old listeners. J/K Teeeheeeheee.

I wonder what ever happened to the images of the logo I sent to you years ago. Remember the one with the woman dancing on the D.I. and the electricity all around her? Ah well you probably don't Ari.

Anyways enuff with the nostalgia.

Is there some way I can get my thingy over there under my pic changed? I know ya's used to do that upon request, but frankly I don't know who to contact or anything anymore. Been a long time since I've actually come to the forums.

When you can, like Rick and me, remember when the site was green, and had the site had the old politics/offtopic forums err I mean battlegrounds, well.....lets just say, I am far from an addict in training. Infact while I know that there are set "stats". Indeed mine should probably read "Over the hill Addict with one foot in the grave".

Well I'm outta here, I don't check the forums that often so it'll probably be a few days or weeks before I'm back to respond to any replies.

But I'll be out there listening....always listening.

Yeah I'd like to have some stickers or a t too. Just so I can shock these youngsters when they see my old backside sporting the D.I. LOL

I already shocked one young kid when I saw them out and about talking about D.I. and told them "Oh I know that site, yep, been a member for years there". The kid said he didn't think any grandpa's would ever listen to the D.I. :LOL:
