I always thought he was aging rather well for a musician too. I would love to look half as cool as he did at 45-47. His body of work goes well outside music too. I did a bit of a tribute show to him last night, involving various metal covers and quotes from various musicians. Beastie Boys... one of the first bands I enjoyed listening to. A true talent is gone.

yeh i love the beastie boys. They were just amazing. everything they did turned to gold. It sucks he had to go so early.

it turned out he was losing the battle with Cancer years ago, sucks too I loved these guys back in High School
