Hurricane Season is upon florida once more@

Check out this rain!!

last week, we had 12" of rain!, and they are saying we will have about 5 more from this tropical storm. Last year, charley landed 20 miles north of my house, we had 110mph winds, and let me tell you.. when you see a porta potty flying through the air, its a little unnerving!

They say the weather patterns have changed, and we can expect a more active than normal season for the next 10 years

Fortunatly last year i only last some soffit, and a few shingles on my roof.. my brother lost whole sheets of plywood from his roof.

You know, every year it's hurricane season in the south. I used to live in New Orleans in the 80s and we had our fair share of hurricanes. It's just part of life. Sure global warming might help in making more of them, but we only have ourselves to blame for that.

hey i hope you lot in florida will be ok.....i just hate heavey winds ..i have a 6 inch scar on my head through the wind i was six years old the wind was that fearce it blew me in front of a van...what luck eh??

anyhow take care of yourself.....i'm interested, so what happens in the hurricane season how do you prepare your self for such natural disasters!

Making me nervous just thinking about it.

Man, season came fast this year. As you know, a lot of people haven't fixed their houses from the last go-round.

All i can say is be careful.

I havent been in a hurricane before, so i wouldnt know what it's like... but seeing a flying porta potty seems kinda cool.
