That is absolutely disgusting! Who are these monsters?! How can someone think its OK-much less funny!-to do something so vile and hideous? Where is the conscience? The kindness? The compassion? How can one lower a fellow human being to such a level that they think its acceptable to act in such a way? good lord who raises people like this!

There are too many stories like this, stories like the Dunbar Village tragedy and the people who stepped over the dying woman in the store, one even taking pictures of her with her phone, the woman who was tortured for a week in Carolina, stories out of Darfur, that really make me worry about our species and our world. When did we stop thinking of others? What's happened to community? Don't these people realize that we're all connected?

Perhaps you didn't fully read the title, or check out the supplied BBC link, but the fact that she was moments from death adds an entirely new level of reprehensibility to it. This is undoubtedly unfortunate news, but it certainly deserves to be reported.
