That's absurd... well since it's no MacDonalds. I don't hear any lawsuit bells.

I used to eat Tesco ready meals all the time...should maybe think twice about eating them ever again after reading this

Hah one time my mom found a fairly large screw in some ground beef from the grocery store.

I was watching a story on things found in food last night on a current affairs show.

They had a cigarette butt in the middle of a meat pie, a rat cooked into a loaf of bread, pieces of glass in a pasta salad.

There was also lots of instances of long strands of plastic, resulting in choking.

See what happens when you try to eat healthy? They decided to really fortify the iron content of that meal.

A friend of mine has an individually wrapped string cheese complete with its own individually wrapped fly. They wanted him to send it back to them for "quality assurane purposes", but he won't do it. It's worth a fair bit of money to him as a conversation piece. I need to ask him if they ever ponied up some change from their "quality assurance department".

Now that would be just awful. Once when I was eating in our school's cafeteria I got a piece of plastic. It was just awful. In fact, the whole meal was kind of icky.

But I feel bad for that kid... that's gross.
