Just sharing a warning for those intending on reading and doing Course In Miracles, it can be disturbing and cause depression and anxiety as your deepest fears come to the surface and your ego screams out as it realises it is the source of all the non-reality of the "real world" we see with our eyes, as it knows it's time is up and that we are returning to God, yes, in a trancetastic journey. Just be smart, be careful, mostly the Course is about sorting out between the Inner Truth and the ego. For me, sometimes it has been like going through and trying to sort out a pile of underwear by color, each underwear though a very very very very slightly different shade of blue.

I read the whole Text but had to stop the lessons at about Lesson 140 or

Sorry so late mate thought I had responded to this already

Looking back at that original post I can see that I was not clear: though the quote is from A Course in Miracles, the meditation book I was talking about is Meditation and Relaxation by Marielle Rensen. The quote is provided in the latter book, which is where I took it from.

and given the post that you have just made, I will certainly NOT be reading A Course In Miracles! Thanks for your brutal honesty~

and lastly! A huge yogic rave for Shiva Rea, whose grace, inner and outer beauty, positivity, and incredible flexibility inspire me to take my practice beyond anything I ever imagined!!!

Wassup???

Out here for centuries, especially amongst the sadhus in the mountain temples in north India, the people have a custom of saying "Boom Shiva ... Bholenath!!!" before they light their chillums (pipes) as a tribute to Lord Shiva who blessed the people with the hills and valleys of Manali with a lifetime's supply of naturally growing cream!!!

In this case, it would be apt to say Boom Shiva Rea!!!

Wassup???

Got carried away in that post and forgot the reason why I was in this thread in the first place : just got back from watching DaVinci Code and I gotta say that it is one really well made movie. I did not read the book cos I'm not really into conspiracy theories and definitely not into the politics of religion. My faith is much, much deeper and purer and far above all that. I went in totally blazed (as I do for every movie, including one during the interval) and was absolutely and completely entertained. A really well made, top class movie from Ron Howard, Tom Hanks and Audrey Tautou.

Sure, I can see how those who are sensitive about faith can object to the blatant questions raised, but the movie is a complete act of fiction. And what an act it was!!! Bravo!!!

Oh yeah baby! Always love to hear these joyous posts from you!!!!

I have a weird rave for today: my dad is painting the room next to this one, the fumes are incredibly strong and its making me very lightheaded, but in a really good way, almost as nice as the happy gas I got before getting my wisdom teeth out *whooooooooooooo*

Well, I just rolled in a lot of money from my highschool graduation...and I'm going to build a computer with it. I've picked out most of my parts...however, I am not totally sure, they are compatible together. I emailed my comp sci teacher to get his opinion...but he hasn't replied. THen i posted the parts on the Computers forum. However...I havent had any comments (cept Dustwave tellin me that I needed to fix the link) on it. So if anyone who reads this is computer saavy, please reply to it. I know I have all summer, but I'm just so anxious

Went for a job interview today. I was quite nervous and had a lot of "pride" at risk -- I knew it was going to be a good test of my humility going for a "lowly sales job" at a local IT shop... But nonetheless I was able to make the appointment, turn up, fill out some forms

Funny thing is during the interview I ended up chatting with the interviewer about web design and graphic design stuff instead which they were interested in While it is unlikely that I will end up doing design stuff for them my random rave is that it was totally unexpected and the interviewer was really smart and nice, and sort of bouncing with energy like a squirrel.

Then I came out of the office/building and it was drizzling a bit, I just looked up at the sky and let it rain down on me for a while. What I thought would be a daunting interview was exhausting, but quite insightful really

You need to wait a few months and then get onto Conroe (Intel Core 2, Intel Core 2 Extreme) dual core power. nVidia 7900 in SLI. 80GB or more Raid 0 hard disk drives.

Alternatively, get a Pentium 805 and overclock that up to 3.8ghz, that whips everything out there at the moment.

I think it's just one guy? It feels like you're diving into the mind of a madman. You should. I found it at FYE (local music store). I didn't think it was possible to find edm (idm) in a place like this, but it is
