What is your favorite theory about the cell organelle--mitochondria?

as what the general concense i think that the most probable symbiosis, that happened eons ago, and ended in what we know as an eucharitic cell today

well i suggest that u google some mitochondria theories then post them in here to make some conversation...i myself am very interested in mitochondria(is there a shorter form of the word?) i believe that "mitos" hold key information about everything, especially how the universe was formed, and where its going.

wtf have mitochondria, a biological cell component got to do with the formation of the universe? unless you're going to start suggesting that due to some weird panspermia, these little structures resulted in life on earth developing from something that was linked to the beginnings of everything we know?

wtf.... alright dude, mitochondria are the building blocks of DNA witch are the building blocks for all of life....now how the hell does that not have to do with the begining of things, and its not some sort of f*ckin conspiracy theory, its a hypothesis, well more like a suspicion. why is it so abstract to think that these things might hold key information, considering we know so little about them except that they are self suffcient life forms, dont u think that the little things that are contained in every single cell in your body more may have a little more to do than just YOU. these little life forms are the scientific form of "Chi", if i cared enough to prove to u, id find a link to back everything im saying, but ill let u do the research.

they may not have been involved in how the UNIVERSE was formed but they are certainly part of how life started on earth, so try to have a little imagination, it wasn't that far of leap to make that the universe, who the f*ck knows hows the universe was created, im just saying that these little things are very mysterious (at least to me) so putting in some meaning into them seemed liek a good idea. hell why not have dark matter as super condenced mitochondria dna it would be a lot more interesting to have a living life form eating everything in the universe, than gravity doing all the work.....
