Not Got the comedy value of a truly great mashup, but they went so well together:

I didnt know that "Runnin" song, but, wow! Those songs are like perfect together, maybe a bit more of a beat for the courus could have been used, but other than that it was great

These two songs really do work perfect together.

very unusually, it was done not with cubase or the like, but using a PC based mixprogram called Mixmeister 6. it allows you to adjust speed, pitch etc and synchronisation of multiple music files on screen so is like a cross between using Soundforge and a pair of CD mixers - end result - perfect synchronisation, beatmatching and pitch harmonisation.

all i had to do was spot the songs, find acapellas (taken from SNL performance) and instrumentals (a-side of vinyl single) and put 'em together.

next time i'd like to find the chorus of a different instrumental to add some variety in the tune.
