Default understanding the 24h cut off

Hi,

Friend of mine tried out the premium service and pointed out something interesting to me.

Before paying for the streams, he would never get disconnected. Now that he pays, he gets disconnected randomly once a day....

Now I was contemplating signing up for the higher quality, but why would I go from a free version that never disconnects, to a paid version that disconnects me every so often?

Are the costs incurred from not kicking people that high?

If your friend is experiencing issues with his premium service, I would highly reccomend him taking a look at the premium support pages located here: http://www.di.fm/pro/support/

Or he can email the support team at support@di.fm

Hope this helps.

(Personally I have never experienced this, my stream has been connected for the past two days now ^_^)

How long can I stream for? Will I be disconnected after any time period?

You can stream for as long as you want. Sometimes there may be a reset for connections that last for over 12-24 hours. This is just our way of keeping the costs down for everyone. You can of course connect again immediately.

I think the key word there is may - if it's happening every day I'd suggest contacting the support team.
