Nice. Did you use FL and the Wasp XT to make that bass? The beat is tight if you made it yourself, the ghosting on it is right on.. which makes me wonder. Did you make it yourself?

I did. The 1 bas is with z3ta+. The second one was a korg sample, but I modified the crap out of it. The korg sample was just a slight hum. Like well, mmmmm. I added filtering effects with Love Philter in FL7. Its nice being able to edit the filtering envelopes and making it exactly how I want them. The breaks are 2 seperate onces I mixed together. I choped them up of course.

This how I think im going to start the song.

You can make the exact same sound with Wasp XT in FL .. try it.

2 Saws slightly detuned played on a low octave with a Filter LFO

add some phase and just the slightest bit of delay set on pingpong.

Also.. lets try this: Instead of posting every single little change to your song why not wait until you finish one then post it? It makes it easier to review, and then you can go back and change things. Like me, when ever I have something I believe is worth maybe getting a second opinion on I'll throw it up and then post some reviews of my own, to even out the cycle. I look back on the last few pages of this thread and I see your threads with "Click Here" everyone other thread and the only thing changed is the octave or perc line etc. Finish a song, then post it up. It will make this thread better .. IMO.

Its got promise, but im looking for something thats really gonna grab the listener and realllly have their full attention. I guess this is an intro to that part

Not bad!

I think it should have more of a "rolling bassline though". Still sounds great though.

Yeah, I was undecided on the bass... its the thing I spent the least amount of time on. I wanted to place emphasis on percussion

Once I add the higher energy / main part, ill experiment with different bass stuff.

You got somethin goin there. I like the funky feel to it. The way that the rhythm compliments the bass is nice. I think the make it into a complete "spinnable" track you should concentrate heavy on a hard pounding bassline, bring up the kick and make the bass flow a little more, while making the high notes the center of the track and the build ups.

What am I talking about? Who knows.. all I know is, I ant ro hear the final track.

Sounds good if you keep going with that melody but I would bring up the percussion a littl more. Melody is nice.

Currently working on some techno, it has a happycore sort of sunny sound but definitely not finished; over 220 bpm...

and also a much slower breakbeat tune with use of a guitar effect
