Daytime night clubs?

I was watching The Bourne Supremacy the other night and in one scene this guy is in Russia and goes into a club during the day and its a dark real happenin' looking place with techno music and synchronized lights and such. I've seen similar scenes in other movies where people are inside techno/trance clubs during mid-day.

Do these clubs really exist in Europe? There certainly isn't anything like that around here (but there should be)

Yeah, there's a few in Ibiza. I expect there's a few in Amsterdam too.

Space is the main club that does the day-time thing. Just as everyone else is closing down, they're opening up.

there is several daytime club events every weekend in London

first ones starts when normal clubs closes about at 7am and some of them starts bit later.

When I lived in NY, there was a club that was opened from 3PM-4AM so they exist here in the US. The only question I have is this. What is a daytime night club?

Erm it's a dayclub. I used to frequent em all the time when I worked in clubs. If you don't knock off until 6-7am dayclub is a blessing. Either that or you drink with all teh alcos having their morning beer in the dingy early opening pubs

I know a breakfast caf not far from where I live that plays d'n'b from 6 am, does that count?

A club here tried it for a few weekends in a row, opening up at 1pm and then closing like 4am or somthing. No one really went before the regular times (8pm onwards) so they just shut the doors, and just started at regualr times again.

There's a couple of clubs here in Melbourne that are basically twenty-four hours.

Basically they serve as a way to keep all the speed and ice freaks off the street, but they're great fun when you're in the mood.
