1) Be able to afford to build my dream home, which is a self sustainable, eco friendly, dome home somewhere in the woods of New Hampshire, Vermont or possibly even Alaska.
2) Travel the world hiking a variety of atypical locations like Antarctica, Siberia, etc.
3) Trade #3 in exchange for my family and friends having good lives, being happy, healthy and safe from the mass-destruction our world leaders seem to be trying to cause.

I thought about setting up a Poll - "Why I no longer post on DI", and set up some choices to allow for the range of reasons that could be involved.

So I kinda gave up on that idea.

But the comparison with being on here when I joined and now is stark, I can remember when Ari imposed a time limit on posts because they were fast and furious by the second, and you had to refresh the screen constantly to keep up ... now , it's so so different ...

and I am seriously not convinced I didn't see a tumble weed blow across my screen yesterday!

But hey ... maybe it's me that is way out of touch!!!!

It might be that comment referred to one specific forum on Sky which relates to the Smooth Jazz channel, where he hosts a live show each Sunday, or maybe it's a sign of bigger things ... I don't know.

Nope...afraid not. The whole forum is going down when the new website will go up. There will be a replacement feature though but in a different shape. So when will this happen, i hear you wonder. Well, the first ETA Ari mentioned passed 3 years ago or something, and all other estimates that have been given by various people over the years have come and gone as well. So my guess is: probably when all the planets are aligned.
