Eyes for the Profane

A friend and I were talking, and something brought up POGS! Those were like the hippest things around when I was younger. Anyone my age will remember elementary school with POGS I'm sure. Who remembers them? I remember playing for money, it was like our little ring of illegal playground gambling at the time. Funny stuff...
Here's a >> LINK << for those who think I'm crazy & have no idea what a POG is ![]() -trans

I used to have two shoeboxes full of them (in fact, I used to have a sawblade one just like the one in the picture).
Don't remember what happened to my collection, but I don't have them anymore. ![]()

Interesting. When I saw the word POG, the first thing that came to mind was that refreshing Hawaiian drink made of Passionfruit, orange juice and guava. The game's name is based on that drink according to Wikipedia.
Planning on making a digital POG game for the DI peeps, translucent?

Oh wow major nostalgia. I gave away all my pogs when the fad faded out. I had some sick looking slammers too.

omg POGS.... lmao. I used to have sooo many of them and I loved it. I had the sickest looking slammers ever... and the slammers were probably the best part about it. Like everyone else, I dont know what happened to my set of POGS either. I miss those days.

HOLY FREAK!! I totaly forgot about those things. I haven't seen one in 10 years. I've always known them as milkcaps. I never knew what they were for other than collecting. I remember getting them with fast food kids meals.
