Default Diablo III

Oh Battle.net, it's been 10 years since we last met.
What other brave souls will venture into the depths of hell tonight?

Not me, not my kind of game. But funny (and predictable) detail: a guy i know works for Blizzard and he said that when the servers were activated last night things crashed big time cause too many people tried to log in straight away haha

Not just starcraft 2 either. I'm pretty sure most of the highly anticipated and overly hyped online games had similar problems the past few years. Somehow game studios just don't seem to bother to dish out the extra cash to make sure there's server overhead so paying customers can actually play on the release date.

Yes yes, battlefield was a nightmare on the release date as well. D3 servers went offline twice in US since this morning, but considering all things it was smoother then expected actually.

Everquest (my MMORPG of choice) was like that the first half a dozen expansions. While I wasn't there when they turned the servers live day one (I started about four months after launch), I read a lot of stories about the beginning times. And certainly every patch day was a massive cluster.

Absolutely not! it's a good game don't get me wrong, but i was kinda disappointed. it just... lacks something that D2 had. Not sure if its the graphics or the linearity but I'm bored of D3 already.

i waited 10 years for this game and was majorly let down.

Plot is lacking, but gameplay is brilliant. Have you finished inferno?

They can patch all they want, it will never be as good as the old one.
