J-pop remixes can be kind of funky and entertaining. Kind of neat to see it on DI, but still pretty much dance&pop with a few basic trance beats.

Does Ayu = Ayumi Hamasaki?

Sounded Japanese to me. It's a bit of an acquired taste, for sure. Neat song though!

Ferry Corsten and Above&Beyond have both remixed some of her stuff. REALLY GREAT STUFF! This one is so-so. But check out "Whatever" (System F Remixes).

Yeah, she is. I think Velfarre is in Tokyo...

And I think they do the Ayu Trance CDs.
