We do a lot of business on the weekends sometimes and this was one of those weekends....I have a tremendous amount of data entry to do (not my fav) and I have found nothing but mistakes on my crewmember paper work which doubles the work I have to do.....and everyone seems to be in a snippy mood here today....not sure whats up with that...I'm just ready for it to be over thats all..

And you all don't do backups?

I use to tell my customers, "Never back up what you can afford to lose."

If you can't stand to lose even 1 day, then you have to back up every single day to prevent horror and distress. Where I work, we can't afford to lose even 10 minutes, so we do replication, as well as full backups every 4 hours. We have quadruple redundancy, even more than NASA does.

Save, save, save, and do renames for multiple copies for multiple redundancies. It's the only way to go.

only been here 3 months, they were in bad shape b4 i got here......I've been telling them over and over they need to do certain things but it falls on deaf ears....I guess they learn the hard way......at least we have hard copy's of everything....do it the old way..... I love living in the future

all the work I've done is safe....I save everything everywhere all the time....you only have to get burned once to learn that lesson...it's the work from b4 I was here that they want me to recover.....oh well I guess I can look at it as Job security
